Group Weights for Helicopters:
Starting in the summer of 2009, all of our posted trips for 2 or 3 guests are based on using a Bell 206b Jet Ranger. The group weight needs to be 500 pounds or less including all your gear. The group weights do not include the guide’s weight. If the group weight is greater than 500 pounds, we will charge the difference to the group for using a bigger helicopter. We will charge you at the end of your trip or at the time of booking when we know the group weights. This is a condition of participating in our adventures.
Course
or Trip Registration:
Please carefully read the company cancellation
and refund policies, then complete the application form and
submit it electronically or mail it to Heli Canada Adventures. A staff member will
contact you regarding your method of payment when submitting the form
electronically.
Payment/Deposit:
A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required 14 days after your initial reservation
request, as this ensures helicopter and guide availability. Final trip payment is due 60 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable. We strongly suggest trip cancellation insurance.
Method of Payment:
Payment may be made by cash, traveler's cheque, money order, personal
cheque, bank draft or credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express). All payments must be received in Canadian funds. Please make all cheques payable to Heli Canada Adventures.
 
Cancellations and Refunds:
All payments are non refundable, which ensures helicopter and guide
availability. In the unlikely event Heli Canada Adventures has to cancel
its programs before you arrive, we will refund you 100% of your payment or
deposit.
In the event that you have to cancel your trip and you have not purchased trip cancellation
insurance, if you can find a suitable replacement for your booked trip or
course we will transfer your payments received to your replacement.
Trip Cancellation Insurance, Evacuation Insurance and Visitors to Canada Medical Insurance:
For your own protection, we strongly recommend that you purchase Trip Cancellation Insurance, Evacuation Insurance and Visitors to Canada Medical Insurance from your local travel agent. We can provide this insurance too at the time of booking – please ask.
After Registration:
We will send to you logistical information after registration. Please feel
free to call us with any questions you may have - we're here for you.
Please print the online waiver,
sign it, and return it to us in the mail. It is an exact copy of the waiver you will be required
to sign prior to the commencement of your course/trip and is a condition
of registration and booking.
Minimum numbers:
For all programs except backpacking, photography and courses the prices
have been worked out for a minimum of three people. To date, we have not had a
problem with singles or couples going on our adventures as there is others
just like you that are booking. We will combine the bookings to make
the required group size. We will notify you well in advance if we are not
able to make the minimums required - though this has not happened yet! We do have
an option of a private helicopter holiday, so please ask if this is for
you.
Conditions:
1. Participation in courses or programs is dependent on Waiver
completion.
2. Heli Canada Adventures and Snotech Services Inc. accepts no
responsibility for the actions of persons and/or companies supplying goods
and/or services as part of these packages nor for any extra costs that may
arise from the complication or prolongation of any program or course for
any reason.
3. Heli Canada Adventures and Snotech Services Inc. reserves the
right to change or cancel any program or course at any time without
penalty to Heli Canada Adventures and Snotech Services Inc.
4. The participation of any person in any program or course is
continually subject to the discretion of the program/course leader and of Heli Canada Adventures
and Snotech Services Inc.
5. Any health problems which may affect your participation in any
program or course must be cleared by your physician. You are responsible
for notifying Heli Canada Adventures and Snotech Services Inc. of any
allergies or health problems on your registration form.
6. In the unlikely event of an emergency, participants are liable
for any rescue or evacuation costs incurred. We strongly recommend you
purchase rescue and medical insurance.
Prices:
All prices are subject to change at any time. Prices and payment are in Canadian Dollars. Guest prices for 2 guests or 3 guests are for groups 500 pounds or less and use a Bell 206b Jet Ranger. If the group weight is greater than 500 pounds, the group will be charged the difference in helicopter costs for using a bigger helicopter at the time of booking or at the end of the trip. Currently, there is a fuel surcharge and this is billed at the end of the trip.
