Heli Canada Adventures' avalanche awareness courses adhere to Canadian Avalanche Association guidelines for Recreational Avalanche training. These courses are designed to improve recreational avalanche safety in Canada, and to introduce a nationally recognized training standard. This means that students on our avalanche awareness courses receive high quality training compatible with courses from other providers using the same material. This training is also an excellent stepping stone for those planning on taking the Level 1 Avalanche Course from the Canadian Avalanche Association.
