Snotech Services Inc. was founded in 1994 with the mandate being to provide top-rate industrial professional consulting and courses in avalanche safety training, fall protection and fall arrest, rigging safety, and rescue systems. Our experienced staff are all professional members of the Canadian Avalanche Association and the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides who have full participation and remuneration. This enables our customers to receive the best possible service available.

In 1999, Snotech Services Inc. decided to branch out and start Heli Canada Adventures, offering the public the opportunity to experience the wonders of the Selkirk and Monashee mountains with the added comfort of trained and experienced professional guides. These activities range from powder skiing adventures in the winter to helicopter hiking in the summer. In 2010, it was decided that the summer and winter activities should be separate and Revelstoke Ski Touring was born. Snotech Services Inc. continues to be the umbrella company for these successful endeavors.

Avalanche Snow Safety Solutions:

• Offered to industry, recreational operations, and residential structures

Fall Protection and Fall Arrest:

• Evaluate the work site to help create the best systems available
• Install those systems
• Teach training courses on hardware and use of systems, including rescue systems
• Provide written fall protection plans where needed
• Comply with the requirements of all regulatory and governmental agencies in your jurisdiction

Rigging Safety:

• For the movie industry, from urban centers to mountain terrain, using proper rigging safety techniques to mitigate on-set accidents
• For oil field exploration, teaching employees how to apply rigging safety procedures, including clear and concise communicating, in a way that will help keep staff safe and free of potential danger
